Song Dynasty: Zhang Lei alone in a deep forest, under the moonlight and starry sky, his heart is profound. The wind blows through the green bamboo, lonely shadows in the night.

Song Dynasty: Li Qingzhao Spring sleep not aware of dawn, everywhere to hear birds chirping. Nightly wind and rain sounds, flowers falling know how much.

Song Dynasty: Zhang Lei A deserted path in the woods no one passes by, an ancient road with a distant west wind and a thin horse's head. Laughing peaches in springtime, one song of the flowing river.

Song Dynasty: Su Shi Inquiring about stone at Mount Tai; I ask who it belongs to. Moss grows on stones; few visitors come this way.

Song Dynasty: Zhang Lei As for you who have passed by my home village so many times yet never stopped—your footsteps are like those of old friends returning from afar.

Your carriage has been driven all day without rest; your horses' hooves are heavy with dust.

The sun sets over my humble abode; will you stay for another cup?

Please do not hesitate;

For I am but an old man sitting alone,

My wine is ready,

And my thoughts are filled with memories of days gone by.
