就在这个时候,一名使者 arrives from the West, bearing an urgent message from the King of Zhou. The message was that he wished to confer with Season King Wen in person and to bestow upon him great honors and rewards. This sudden turn of events caught everyone off guard, and it seemed as though fate had dealt a cruel blow.
Despite his reservations, Season King Wen decided to accept the invitation. He knew that this would be a dangerous journey, but he also knew that it was necessary for the future of his kingdom. As he prepared to leave, he called his son aside and gave him some final instructions.
"You must remember," he said, "that our ancestors entrusted us with a sacred duty: to rule justly and protect our people. You must not falter in this duty, no matter what challenges you may face."
With these words ringing in his ears, Season King Wen set off on the long journey to Zhou's capital. His son watched him go with a heavy heart, knowing that their meeting with the King of Zhou could have far-reaching consequences.
As they traveled through unfamiliar lands, they encountered many dangers along the way. But despite these challenges, they remained steadfast in their resolve to fulfill their duties as rulers.
Finally arriving at Zhou's capital after many days' travel,
Season King Wen presented himself before the throne,
And listened intently as
The king spoke of his plans for peace
And prosperity throughout all China.
He told them how
He wanted them both
To work together hand-in-hand,
To strengthen each other's strengths,
And compensate for each other's weaknesses.
This way,
They could build an empire strong enough
To last through all eternity;
An empire where every man would live free,
Under fair laws made by wise men;
Where artistry flourished without bounds,
And science reached new heights unbound;
Where every child could grow up safe,
In harmony with nature;
At last when we finished speaking,
We were exhausted but exhilarated.
For we knew now that our dreams were possible;
Together we vowed:
"We will never let fear or doubt creep into our hearts."
"We will stand united against any challenge."
"We will always strive towards greatness."
Thus began
A glorious era under Heaven;
A golden age where love reigns supreme;
When wisdom guides us evermore;
When honor shines like stars forevermore;
Then shall we know true happiness;
