孟尝君的门客们，哪个朝代最强盛？他们用鸡鸣狗盗之计，逃离秦国，是不是让你惊叹不已？
战国时候，齐国的孟尝君喜欢招纳各种人做门客，号称宾客三千。他对宾客是来者不拒，有才能的让他们各尽其能，没有才能的也提供食宿。有一次，孟尝君率领众宾客出使秦国。秦昭王将他留下，想让他当相国。孟尝君不敢得罪秦昭王，只好留下来。不久，大臣们劝秦王说：“留下孟尝君对秦国是不利的，他出身王族，在齐国有封地，有家人，怎么会真心为秦国办事呢？” Qin Shi Huangdi felt that there was some truth to this, so he changed his mind and had Son Meng leave and his attendants imprisoned, waiting for a reason to kill them.
Qin Shi Huangdi had a favorite concubine who would do anything he said. So Meng sent someone to ask her for help. The concubine agreed on one condition: she wanted the white fox fur robe from Qi State, which was the most beautiful in the world. This put Meng in a difficult position because he had just given the robe to Qin Shi Huangdi.
At this point, one of Meng's door guests spoke up: "I can get back the white fox fur robe!" He went off and returned with it. It turned out that this guest was very good at sneaking into dog holes and stealing things. He first found out about the situation and knew that Qin Shi Huangdi loved the robe so much that he wouldn't wear it during the day but kept it in storage room in palace where no one could see him steal it under moonlight.
The concubine saw the white fox fur robe and was overjoyed, trying every way she could think of to persuade Qin Shi Huangdi not to kill Son Meng anymore. She even planned a farewell banquet for him two days later when he would return home.
Son Meng didn't dare wait any longer; fearing that Qin might change his mind again, he immediately led his attendants away by night as fast as they could ride their horses towards east (the direction of Qi State). At that time, according to law of state of Qin (which is now known as Henan), doors were only opened after hearing rooster's crowing sound each morning; however half night time is not suitable for rooster's crowing yet? Everyone around worried how they were going make them open gate early enough?
Just then several sounds like "Cock-a-doodle-Doo" echoed through air - those few people heard bird calls! As soon as these birds started calling more birds joined until all birds outside city walls began calling too loudly! The guards guarding gate thought something strange happened why are chickens making such noise before sunrise? But still have no choice but follow rules open gates let them pass through!
By daylight next morning when Son Meng reached other side already safe & soundly gone beyond reach while soldiers chasing behind couldn’t catch up with him since escape route closed long ago...
